 CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Your DD Bird Bag has landed! Now, it’s time to learn how to care for it.

GETTING STARTED

Please take care when unpacking your new handbag. Open the packaging carefully to avoid damaging the bag. 

STORAGE

Most of our #DDCHICKS love using their bag every day! On the rare occasion that you switch your bag out and need to store it, we recommend the following tips.

  1. Please store your handbag with care. It’s important to store your handbag in its own protective nest dust bag. Each DD BIRD bag comes with its very own nest, so you’ll receive a protective cover with each new bag order. The nylon tote bag can be stored flat by folding the bottom in the center (lengthwise), and the handles and leather key charm be tucked inside the bag to protect the leather during storage.

  2. Please store your handbag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or humidity.

  3. The vegan leather material on the bags is very soft. Please treat it with the same care as real leather.

CLEANING

  1. Spot clean only. You may clean soiled or dirt spots on nylon totes by gently rubbing soiled areas with a clean, dye-free, water-dampened cloth. You can add a small amount of mild non-bleaching soap as needed. Rub gently and carefully to avoid damaging the nylon fabric. The nylon is water-resistant and should dry well. Carelessness may cause a change in color or may harm the material.

  2. The nylon totes are water-resistant, but too much rain or water may ruin the material. You should always allow the bags to air dry. You should never use a hair-dryer to dry the bags; heat may damage the material.

  3. Never dry clean your nylon or leather bags.

GENERAL CARE

  1. Take care when inserting heavier items into handbags or other bags, so you do not damage or deform the product.

  2. Alcohol and oily substances, such as perfumes or cosmetic products, may damage or contaminate the product.

  3. Please remember to take care of your DD Bird bag regularly. We do not permit returns on damaged bags after use, general wear and tear, or other causes.
